This year, EWHEA is offering a NEW Conference for Eastern Washington home educators. We are drawing upon the wisdom of many people (including several who have over 20 years experience home educating) to offer you the best ideas, resources, and inspiration that you can use. More and more school districts are offering special "Home School" Alternative Education programs targeted at home school families. With attractive offers of curriculum reinbursements, special classes (Spanish, Hands-on Science, Art and more) as well as much-needed "days off" for mom and "socialization" for the student. These programs seem attractive, but at what cost? Remember, there is no such thing as a FREE lunch. JoAnn, along with her home school graduate daughter Corrie, is the author of three how-to sew books that are popular with home educators across the country. Local Support Group Information In keeping with its mission to serve the home school community, EWHEA will make available an area for local support groups to be represented so attendees can have the opportunity to see what local and regional groups have to offer. Support groups have an opportunity to share information about their group at these unmanned tables.
COST: Friday and Saturday Workshops are $7.50 Per Family, Per Day*. FREE Registration for EWHEA Members!FREE for those who want to SHOP in the vendor hall ONLY! *A Family are persons living at the same address ONLY. Children may attend with their parents; however, we urge parents to make other arrangements for them, if possible because the Convention is an intense event, workshop space is limited and children are easily tired and bored. Children must remain with their parents at all times.
